hlcc_fengshui_02The objective of this course is to provide participants with a basic understanding of Feng Shui principals, while promoting participants’ awareness to elements in their own living/business environments, and encouraging them to work on their environment using simple Feng Shui theory. A number of basic Feng Shui concepts will be introduced and implemented throughout the course. Some of these include:

  • Brief overview of Feng Shui history & philosophy
  • Yin/Yang Theory: finding balance in our living/working environments
  • Chi - Universal Life Force: Understanding the existence of energy in our homes
  • The Five Elements: fire, earth, metal, water and wood
  • Ba-Gua Theory: dividing the different areas of your home
  • Positioning Furniture: shifting energetic flow by repositioning objects - customizing your environment
  • Colors, numbers, shapes and materials in Feng Shui and their value when working on the interior of your environments
  • Implementing Feng Shui cures
  • Basic Feng Shui concerns when designing your living room, kitchen & bedrooms

Note - An additional bonus meeting will be held at the home of one of the participants during the course to demonstrate an actual Feng Shui case study. This will be selected with a lucky draw during the first meeting of the course.

Imperial palaces and cities were planned according to feng shui principles, which became an important element in classical Chinese architecture. Beijing's Forbidden City is a spectacular example of this 5,000 year old art.
