Group Classes

hlcc_student_10Our group classes are among the most popular. Working together students get a good reference for their level and it is always more motivating to work with others.

An old African idiom says: “if you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together”.

Our classes are divided into three main levels with additional classes to learn Chinese characters or Intensive course.

 
Beginner

Classes are given to people without previous knowledge of Chinese. We teach pinyin, tones, basic words, sentences and grammatical rules (first characters optional). We concentrate on helping the students being able to reproduce basic sentences for daily life as: taking a taxi, shopping, etc... An exam is organize at the end of the course to assess the progress of each individual student.

 
Intermediate

Classes are given to people with basic Chinese knowledge, concentration on practicing conversation, improving vocabulary and grammatical rules. More advanced characters will also be taught (characters are optional).

 
Advance

Classes are given to improve your oral Chinese with more advanced vocabulary and phrases such as Chinese sayings and idioms. (Reading and writing Chinese characters is optional).

 
Children Classes

We offer both individual tutoring and group classes. For smaller children we teach them basics like colors and animals. The scope of the lessons for older kids tends to vary tremendously depending on their school and background. Our program is adapted for each individual children based on a preliminary meeting with the student, their parents and their regular teacher.

 
Intensive Classes

We follow the same program and levels as our regular courses but classes are taught in Chinese, with characters and 3 times per week. With the intense classes your will progress faster and will be able to get around in China within just a few weeks.

 
Chinese Characters

Classes are given to students who are interested in learning Chinese characters. Starting from basic stroke order and positioning, radicals, and the most common characters. This will help you to have a better grasp on Chinese speech.
